Juan Carlos is an award-winning artist who has worked in theater, film and television alongside industry professionals and independent creators. He is also an avid photographer. He holds a degree in Film from San Francisco State University's College of Creative Arts.
He is the producer and director of the award-winning documentary film, The Fight for Water: A Farm Worker Struggle, which brought national and international attention to the man-made drought in the California Central Valley during the California Water Crisis. It serves as an educational film on California on-going "Water Wars". He also serves, and has served, as a social media consultant for various organizations, businesses and independent projects. He is the Production Director of Filmunition Studios, located in the California Central Valley, from where he does freelance work as a photographer, videographer, web-designer and social media consultant.
